O Christmas Tree - December 7th and 8th 2013

We officially kicked off the Christmas season by going to Hanscome's Tree Farm to cut hunt for and cut down our own tree. After the time we spent living in cities, I'll never buy a tree from a lot again. In Brooklyn I remember the lowest priced tree was around $50 and the prices went up if you wanted a taller tree. At Hanscome's it's $45 for any tree you want to cut down and has been the same price since we moved to Maine.

Logan started us off by sprinting ahead to find the best tree.

Once we all agreed, she was the one, we started cutting her down.
Who gave that crazy kid a saw?

Charlie had fun bumbling around and losing his mittens

The next day we got around to decorating the tree. Scott hung the lights while Wally gave directions.

Logan was in charge of decorating the bottom half of the tree,

while mom and dad covered the top half.

And when Charlie woke up, he started undecorating, one ornament at a time.
